Three girls, Carrie Marsden, Kirsty Innes and Louise Hunter have just won a prestigious national scholarship with the BTDA. Their award will help to pay for examinations over the coming year.
Competition was tough with the girls having to take part in both a ballet and jazz audition, then have an interview and finally choreograph a number of their own, which had to be performed in front of an audience.
While the senior girls were busy with their scholarships, four of the junior members were facing a day-long audition performing song and dance routines, hoping, to be selected to perform in a touring pantomine over the Christmas period.
Amber Martin, Paris Russell, Ellysse Russell and Bethany Green were all delighted when their hard work paid off and they were selected to take part.
They have now started rehearsals for their roles.
Well Done To All Girls!
