| Dance Troupe Wows Judges! |

 Twenty dancers impressed a panel of four judges including, Bonnie Langford, two Disney producers and an American theatre director at Sadlers Wells Theatre in London at the Finals of The Mardi Gras Challenge! The competition which is held biannually has come to symbolize quality and excellence in amateur dance talent. Months of rehearsals went into choreographing the dance to Masquerade from Phantom of the Opera. Thirty troupes all with a very high standard, took part in the Finals, hence all dancers were elated when their routine was placed third displaying "Professional excellence in Choreography and Interpretation, Costume, Make Up, Technical Ability and Star Quality!" The eighteen girls and two boys were presented with a trophy and five hundred pounds. Congratulations to all who took part. Certainly an achievement to be proud of! |
