 The prestigious award of Recognised School is only given to schools who are able to show that they offer children the best dance education available within the UK. This status is similar to a Kitemark standard and ensures that the school is committed to providing pupils with adequately trained teachers who are all CRB checked and annually appraised. In addition all teachers adhere to the Council of Dance Education and Training's "Code of Professional Conduct for Teachers of Dance."
